This set shows works from the series "Horrible Portraits" (digital pieces made in 2015) and "Portraits" (painted between 2015 and 2018). After his work on "Dark Brazil", Cheo González returns to portraiture but eliminates the empty spaces in the background to work exclusively on the faces. drawing inspiration from street art, graphic design, and illustration. to create this series of portraits of friends, strangers, and himself.
